PSY take a 'gangnam' hike

I’m not sure when it happened…a few months or a few weeks ago, but I started hearing 'gangnam style’ by PSY played all over the place.  Now, it remains all the rage to do the 'gangnam style’ dance.

Well, I did a little checking right below the surface, and while it is common knowledge to some, apparently many others either haven’t received the memo or just don’t care about the reality of this flash in the pan, South Korean rap sensation and his very anti-American past, because they’re still gyrating and mimicking this load of Kim Shee all over the place.

He’s been written about quite a bit and on December 11, 2012 Rick Moran wrote in the 'Daily Digest’ about a recent visit by PSY to the White House into the welcoming arms of President Obama.  The article starts by saying:

"Being president can be a real drag. Too much work, too many people who want something from you, and having to be nice to people who hate you. I’m sure President Obama is tempted at times to just chuck it all for a few hours and go shoot some hoops, or hit the links. Oh, wait…

But what really sucks is having to shake hands with some truly slimy, despicable people. Nixon shook hands with mass murderer Mao Zedong. Carter was embraced by Brezhnev following the signing of the SALT II treaty. Clinton pumped the paw of baby killer Yasser Arafat. And George Bush did the grip and grin with neo-Communist Vladmir Putin.

So it wasn’t out of the ordinary for President Obama to ascend the stage at the annual "Christmas in Washington” charity event and shake hands with the Korean rapper known as PSY who apparently has two notable achievements: the most popular YouTube video of all time…”   Click for Mr. Moran's complete article…

I shouldn’t be surprised, after all, Americans are known for turning a blind eye to celebrities that shun our nation.  For example; being that I do and always will consider her the 'Queen Bee Traitor’ of American celebrities, I’ll start with Jane Fonda.  Her enemy butt-smooching antics during the Vietnam War caused God only knows how many U.S. casualties; but largely because of her dad, she skated the heat of her actions and has gone on, unremorsefully to fame and fortune, and is still free to roam the red carpets in LaLaLand in spite of, nay, because of, her anti-Americanism...

There are many others like her that are either out and out anti-American or at very least anti-American leaning.  You know who I mean.  Guys like Sean Penn and Danny Glover, both of whom just love to rail against us while fawning over the likes of Hugo Chavez; Damon, Clooney, Affleck, Jamie Foxx, Chris Rock, Streisand, Michael Moore, and many others too who are known to take up every leftist anti-American cause they can.

They get paid to somehow 'entertain’ for a living and for some reason their personal opinions are somehow elevated by society.  They use their celebrity to virtually spit on the country wherein they largely earn their livings.  Instead of calling them out for it, we celebrate them.  We love their performances on the screen, TV, radio, YouTube, etc., and many people simply give them a pass when they come out against us, sometimes treasonously.  To them I say, "...if you don’t like this country, then get the hell out and stay out.”

Such is the case with the 'new guy’ known as PSY.  All he needed to do was come up with a sort of catchy tune and a dance step largely reminiscent of a scene from 'Forrest Gump,’ make the most watched YouTube video of all time, and the next thing you know, we forget all about him calling for the deaths of our troops and their families a few years back; and then he gets warmly welcomed to the White House by its current occupier; which is no surprise given this anti-American regime and its despicable associates.

Yeah, sure, PSY has made a public apology; but that only happened after a lot of heat was applied, and I can’t help but wonder if it was real or simply self-serving.  I choose to believe the latter of the options.

Just once, I’d like to see us collectively look to such an individual and say "NO,” we do not like you speaking ill of our country, our military, and our way of life, only to enrich yourself off of our generosity.  "NO,” we will not honor you by dancing your dance.

I’m just very tired of the whole anti-American agenda that is so warmly embraced by the left.  Yeah, America has its faults; but it seems to me that these same people love to come here and help themselves to the largess this great country has to offer.

Well, I’m tired of it!  I’m tired of the whining about all of the bad stuff and never mentioning any of the greatness that is America; of seeing people escape the cesspools they left and then complain that we don’t assimilate to them; of having to press '1’ for English.

I’m tired that we’re supposed to be 'tolerant’ of every new group of cretins that wash up on our shores and watching my country turned into a dumping ground for the rest of the world; of sending foreign aid to every other country every time they have a disaster of some sort without thanks or repayment of any kind.  I’m outraged that these same people disrespect our way of life and our Flag!  And I’m really tired of people like PSY and all the others being glorified in spite of what they stand for.

Sure, our precious Constitution allows them the 'right’ to say and mostly do what they want; but that doesn’t make it right.  Sadly, anti-American propaganda has been taking hold over the past several decades to the point that many here in America, mostly our precious young, actually believe it; and a lot of them are in seats of authority.

We have a lot of very well spoken entertainers to choose from that love and speak well of our country, and some of them are ostracized for doing just that.  It’s time that U.S. entertainment consumers have a long, hard look at this and decide who our shining stars of entertainment should be; and we need to wake up and stop buying the music, watching the movies, and dancing the dances of those that shouldn’t be.

At the very least, we can and should do better than the likes of PSY and his ilk.
