Another Republican attacked by media
Publisher’s note: Someone help me out here. Just as the dog and pony show surrounding Gov. Chris Christie is sort of fading from the headlines, they are starting yet another attack on a Republican; this time for corruption.
How is it that the media chooses these two issues to go after, while taking a blind eye to such stories as CGI Federal being awarded the $678M no-bid contract for the ACA Website debacle, or CBRE being allowed to handle the very lucrative sales of a bunch of Post Offices, not to mention the innumerable crimes committed by President Obama and his regime?
Let’s see, maybe because a certain top executive at CGI by the name of Toni Townes-Whitley is an old schoolmate of Michelle Obama: and could it be that because Richard Blum, Sen. Feinstein’s husband chairs CBRE, they got their cushy deal?
I guess it’s true, the party/agenda that controls the media, controls the coverage.
Fox News: RICHMOND, Va. – Former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell and his wife have been indicted on federal corruption charges.
Peter Carr, a spokesman for the U.S. Justice Department, says McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, were indicted Tuesday. The 14-count indictment includes conspiracy, wire fraud and other charges.
McDonnell left office earlier this month after four years in the governor's office. Virginia law limits governors to a single term.
A federal investigation overshadowed the final months in office for this once-rising star of the Republican Party, with authorities looking into gifts he and his family received from a political donor.
