Grammy's. Gay. Wedding.
Publisher's note: Not that I’m really surprised given the increasingly moral decay and erosion of the planet, however in a direct assault on conservative/Christian sensibilities, CBS decided to slap the over-whelming majority of its potential viewers in the face by turning the Grammy Awards ceremony into a political side show, and conducted a combined gay/straight mass wedding on stage officiated by the high priestess of ‘big gay’ and everything liberal herself, Dana Owens, (aka Queen Latifa).
What “assault” you ask?! How about the rap lyric from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; “…but we paraphrase a book written 3500 years ago." Excuse me, but that “book” is the written Word of God, and it is not to be taken lightly.
Naturally, the left is celebrating this as a complete victory for their side. The L.A. Times wasted not a moment to post this headline by Robin Abcarian; “Give up, gay marriage haters: Grammys mass wedding proves you've lost.”
Sorry to pop your bubble Robin, but a bunch of liberals dancing, weeping, and celebrating an event that most Americans don’t approve of doesn’t prove a thing except that you are hell bent on ramming your agenda down our throats.
Fox News: This year, the Grammy Awards weren't just about the music, they were also about making a statement in the same-sex marriage debate.
Heavily hyped in the hours leading up to Sunday night's show, 34 couples -- both gay and straight -- exchanged rings and said "I do," as officiated on stage by Queen Latifah. The actress/rapper/talk show host was recently deputized by Los Angeles County to legally conduct wedding ceremonies and will sign the marriage certificates for each couple.
The event took place on a stage set to resemble a giant chapel with stained-glass windows during a performance by hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, in which they sang their hit tune "Same Love," a song embraced by the LGBT community last year.
