"Dragging" Children In Conway, NH

Being born and raised in the Boston area, I remember as a child and throughout my teens that one of the most common places we were taken on weekend retreats and vacations was up to the beaches to Maine.  If you’ve never been there before, let me tell you that the water is cold; so cold in fact, it is one of the reasons that I much preferred those times when we instead went up to the mountains of New Hampshire. 

I remember cruising the Kancamagas Highway and stopping by some of the towns along the route for a bite to eat or even just stopping to take in the view here and there.  It’s been years since I did that, however I have to imagine that it is still a beautiful drive in a state that is for the most part loaded with beautiful scenery and history. 

For no other reason than its quaintness, one of my favorite places to visit was Conway and No. Conway and the surrounding areas.  And it was always a place where I could get some space, fresh air, and forget about the big city and all of the nonsense there.

Apparently, that is no longer the case as I learned about something the other day that is to take place at the publicly funded Conway Library on Friday 6/28/19 from 10:30 – 11:30 AM.  When I first heard of it, I was taken aback, but then I remembered that it was only just over three years ago that heard of another piece of insanity happening at that same venue which I wrote a very brief article about and you can read here.

If you haven’t heard, the Library in the sleepy little town of Conway, NH is hosting an indoctrination session under the guise of “inclusiveness”.  To be more specific, they are hosting two “drag queens” named “Crystal” and “Mimi” so that they can read to children and explain to them what a “drag queen” is.

According to their advertisement, among the books to be read are:
“Red, A Crayon's Story” by Michael Hall
“Neither” by Airlie Anderson
“Worm Loves Worm” by J.J. Austrian
“Introducing Teddy” by Jessica Walton
“Jacob's New Dress” by Sarah and Ian Hoffman
“Teddy's Favorite Toy” by Christian Trimmer
“Isabella, Star of the Story” by Jennifer Fosberry
“Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress” by Christine Baldacchino
“I Like Myself” by Karen Beaumont
“10,000 Dresses” by Marcus Ewert

Any parent in the area planning on attending this event with their children would do well to look up these books, one of which, “Jacob’s New Dress” was the subject of considerable controversy in 2017 in North Carolina. 

If I still lived in the area, I would certainly rally as many Patriots as I could and stage a very visible protest in front of the Conway Public Library before and up to the day of the event.  I would also begin a campaign to find out exactly who is running the show up there which allows these events to occur.

The bottom line is that our public schools and libraries, which are an extension of those schools, are designed to teach our children about basic educational blocks such as reading, writing, and math; not indoctrinate our precious young and teach them about cross dressing.

This entire agenda has gone just a little too far, and it is high time for parents to put their collective foot down not only in Conway, NH, but all across America.
