A Clear Choice

Just some thoughts of mine as the calendar closes in on Election Day and in the simplest terms possible, what it all means.

Putting aside all of the other very important races, we have to ask some questions; starting with, regardless of which presidential candidate prevails, the incumbent president or the challenger, will things really change?  I say they will, but only to the degree of how more or less bad things will be.

Under the current administration, we have joined much of the rest of the world and are currently on a disastrous course economically, have likely already become Greece minus the formality of declaring it, and crashed through the guardrail and well into the death fall off the cliff.  Sadly, too many of the lemmings in this country won’t recognize it until we come to a sudden crashing halt at the bottom and everything goes up in flames, and then they’ll blame someone else instead of looking in the mirror.

To be completely fair and honest, the current president did not start us on this course, (as it has been building up for many decades, since the Wilson Administration even).  However since taking office, he has not only done nothing to steer us off of it, he has accelerated the speed at which we are travelling to the edge, lying about it all the way.

Understanding as I do his true nature; that of an anti-Colonialist with exclusively anti-American, radical, and communist mentors and teachers throughout his life, I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that his goal is and always was to destroy America.  I also believe that he is not only very aware that his policies are driving the final nails in our coffin, he is glad to see it.

As far as my original question of change is concerned with re-electing him; while it is hard to imagine, I believe that we really will see more change, and that ‘change’ will be manifested in things getting much, much worse for our nation and the rest of the world.  Worse to the point that the USA will be completely unrecognizable by this time next year, and a total shambles by the end of a second term if he does prevail.

Does that mean that I think Mitt Romney can really make a lot of difference?  Not exactly, because as stated above, I believe we are very likely already too far gone.  Having said that, I believe that another term of the current regime will only see us spiraling out of control faster and faster all the time, however I think that under the first term of a Romney Presidency, the speed of the downward spiral will slow down a lot, allowing at least for a glimmer of hope that we can begin reversing the damage near the end of Romney’s first term and accelerate the healing during a second term.

Here’s why I think that.  As stated above, I know that President Obama’s pedigree and past, while not 100% clear because most of his records are sealed in some kind of Obama Concrete, is absolutely opposite to American values and principles.  On the other hand, Governor Romney, whose entire life is an open book, was reared in America; he understands, appreciates, and he applies our values and principles in his personal and business lives.

Where President Obama has never held a real job, owned a business of any kind, or been successful at anything; Mitt Romney is a successful businessman that has not only built companies from the ground up, he has brought failing companies back from the brink of collapse to great success.  And while he possesses many other positive attributes becoming of a president, that latter point alone very likely qualifies him more than anything else, because in a word, he’s a fixer; at a time when our nation is in dire need of major fixing.

On Monday evening, the candidates will take to the stage to face off in a final, gloves off debate before the election and plead their cases to We the People.  For the most part, we are already aware of each man’s position on our military, social issues, the economy, and jobs.  During Monday’s debate, we can expect to hear a lot about their views on the very important foreign policy issues.

Based upon his apology tour and pandering, how many of our enemies love and support him, and his bowing to foreign leaders, I think it’s very clear what we can expect from President Obama in that area.

Governor Romney has the opportunity to show what a real statesman and leader will look like to our friends and enemies alike, and I believe he will shine brightly in that area.

Let us hope that those remaining on the fence see both of these men for exactly who and what they are, and make the very clear, right decision on Election Day.  The continuation of our country and way of life depends on it as it never has before.
