Integrity....Who Really Has It

Last night, I saw a TV ad in which the Obama Administration took aim at Mitt Romney and his integrity.  Loosely paraphrased, it started out defining integrity as “….doing and saying what you believe when you think no one is watching;” and then using that to further twist Governor Romney’s “45%” comment of several weeks ago.  I found it interesting that this administration has the gall to attack the integrity of anyone, under any conditions; but especially given the president’s discussion in March with outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.  As a reminder, the trans-scripted conversation went as follows:

Obama says, "On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it's important for him to give me space."

Mr. Medvedev replies: "Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you …"

Mr. Obama retorts: "This is my last election.  After my election I have more flexibility."

How’s that for integrity Mr. President?  All you were doing was, among other things, discussing selling our country out to more of our enemies.  And of course this is merely one example of the ‘integrity’ of this administration.  The list of his ‘acts of integrity’ is long and ruinous.  Some examples are Fast and Furious, Benghazi, supporting drilling in So. America while preventing drilling our own, bowing to foreign kings, disrespecting our allies, increasing our debt to the $16T mark and rising daily, aiding the muslim brotherhood in the mid-east and on the home front, and circumventing congress at every turn, etc., etc.

After I ‘calmed down’ about the integrity attack on Governor Romney, I thought about the rest of his party and what is happening around and about even as I write this piece.  During early voting, democrat ‘integrity’ has reared its ugly head with rampant fraud.  In Palm Beach County, Florida where I reside, early voting was supposed to end this past Saturday.  The only exception in Florida was one area up in Orange County that had to close early due to an issue with a suspicious package; as a result, they and they alone were granted a five hour extension.  The SOE’s in Palm Beach County and Dade County wrongfully took this to mean that they could also extend early voting in their respective areas.  I understand that situation is being looked into.  I might add, the only media outlets alerted by SOE Susan Bucher were those outlets that re favorable to liberal causes.

I also wanted to add during this discussion of ‘integrity’ that along with many other friends of mine, I stood many hours at the various early voting polling places showing support for my candidates, and I was confronted by some very nasty and aggressive people from the other side.

One particular individual was at the library on Okeechobee Blvd. in West Palm Beach.  A very confrontational and ‘in your face’ kinda guy, he very clearly showed the integrity of those in his party; at one point, he was literally trying to entice a much older woman into a physical confrontation.  Suffice it to say, he was a poor reflection on his party and his candidate as a whole.

However, in fairness, I will say that I had the privilege of meeting another individual from the other side at the same location who personified decency and respectfulness, and for that I salute you Julia; it was a pleasure to meet you.

As I close tonight, I leave my readers with this final thought.  With only a handful of hours left, will you vote for what our Founders envisioned and in many cases gave up their fortunes and shed their blood for, or will you vote for what the tyranny they fought against represented?  I guess we’ll know soon enough.
