Jacoby Brissett set to transfer

Starla M. Brown Florida Gator quarterback and former Dwyer High School player Jacoby Brissett has reportedly requested a release to transfer.

Brissett will be eligible for two seasons of college play upon transfer, but will not be eligible in the 2013 season. He has played as backup quarterback to Jeff Driskel at UF in 2012.

The Florida Gators recently received a verbal commitment from Will Grier, Gatorade Player of the Year in North Carolina, for the 2014 season.
