On January 19, 2013 Second Amendment supporters are rallying nationwide to show support for our individual rights with Guns Across AmericaGuns Across America is a peaceful and motivational rally that will send a positive message of gun ownership to the nation. It will dispel fallacies that gun control and regulation advocates have been sending out to the American public.

The “Right to Keep and Bear Arms” is an individual right that has been challenged in the United States Supreme Court in recent years with McDonald v. Chicago and District of Columbia v. Heller.  Both case decisions affirmed the intent of the Second Amendment referenced for individuals rights to keep and bear arms.

Rally coordinators in Florida invite you to attend our peaceful and educational demonstration as we tell Floridians we oppose any further gun control laws or legislation.  Law abiding citizens are coming together in solidarity to exercise our rights, and will not have our rights infringed upon due to the criminal actions of other people who break the law.

We seek to educate citizens about misused terms, skewed facts, and uneducated statements by gun control advocates.

The rally will take place at the Hernando County Fairgrounds, 6436 Broad Street, Brooksville, FL 34601 on Saturday, January 19th from Noon until 3:00 p.m.

Organizer Damon Locke stated, “We have Florida state representatives, activists and 2nd Amendment supporters speaking from around the state to peacefully show support.  We want to inform the public and motivate people about gun ownership.”

Admission is $1 for parking and voluntary contributions will be accepted at the gate for rally expenses.
